Our Story

Get to Know Us

Desert Accounting was started by David Acosta in early 2013. We provide accounting services to small and mid-size businesses, and tax preparation services to individuals and small business.

David was raised in Hawaii, spending his childhood on O'ahu. After graduating high school, he served 6 years in the U.S Army before returning back to the islands to work in cargo at Honolulu International Airport.

Following this work, David transitioned into entrepreneurship, serving as the operations manager for a Hawaii-based freight forwarding company, and the CFO of an international franchising company providing retail business services.

After relocating to the Arizona area and earning his Bachelor's degree in Accounting Science, David started Desert Accounting Services.
